Six Great Reasons To Join the Truman Middle School PTA

Moms and dads, guardians, stepparents, and grandparents! PTA membership is a great way to show your kids you care about their school. At $5.00 per person, it’s a small price to pay, and your dues are tax deductible.
1. PTA membership is your ticket to vote on PTA initiatives. Join us for TMS PTA meetings and you’ll have the inside track on PTA sponsored events. Check the calendar page for meeting dates.
2. PTA membership funds help support Truman PTA programs from the very first day of school, including Reflections, Career Day, staff appreciation, student dances, and Terrific Trojan. PTA Membership funds also help supply classroom materials and much more!
3. Your membership dues and active participation give us a vote of confidence for everything we’re trying to do for the students, faculty, staff and families at Truman.
4. Help TMS PTA reach the 100% Membership Goal so that we can receive statewide recognition. Last year, TMS PTA had 178 PTA members (for a 40% membership rate). We need to increase our membership by another 400 members to reach our goal. If the majority of TMS families sign up more than one family member, we can do it!
